Installing and Using Photoshop and Photoshop Elements Brushes

This video shows how easy it is to install, load and use a simple stamp brush like the script brushes.

Update

Later versions of Photoshop is a little different loading brushes. Instead of having “Load Brushes” from the brushes panel, it will say “Preset Manager”. Click on that and then load your brushes. You can also go directly to the Preset Panel from the Edit menu. Edit/Presets/Preset Manager.

Examples

See examples using the script brushes here.

    Hi there,

I’ve purchased and downloaded several brushes from your website…but when I go to load the brushes, the .abr files are un-selectable (meaning that I can’t click on them). Am I doing something wrong when downloading? I am using PS CS6. I’m rather new to PS and I tried googling this issue beforehand but didn’t come up with any solution. Thank you!

      Hi Christine,
I use CS6 too and all brushes load fine. I’m not sure what’s happening for you. I don’t do customer support via comments. You’ll need to contact me via the contact page. It’s better that way, because then you are entered into my customer support system. I definitely want to figure out what’s going on for you.

You need to open up an image in Photoshop to enable the filter to become selectable.
